Day Drinker

Day Drinker was born during the height of the 2020 pandemic and before Erica and Laura met…when afternoons blurred into evenings, and the occasional mid-day cocktail became a small comforting ritual. While many boozy perfumes lean sharp and citrusy, like a margarita, Erica envisioned something more nuanced and true to the craft cocktail experience.

She drew inspiration from elegant concoctions: a handmade Bijou, a Black Manhattan, a Smoked Plum Negroni. During the discovery phase, she not only used her nose, but she explored through her palate! The formula features a bold lineup of aromatic materials, including green cognac absolute, the rare and complex zdravets, and wormwood, a nod to absinthe’s bitter backbone.

The result is a fragrance with intoxicating depth and elegance: it opens with green, bitter top notes, evolves into dark, dried fruity florals, and settles into a base of woods and resins, reminiscent of the inside of a bourbon cask.
